Rant: it took me 3 weeks to figure out why my rolls kept coming back with scratches
I kept blaming my bulk loader and even bought a new one, but the scratches were still there on every roll. Turned out the felt light trap on my old Canonet was full of grit from a beach trip back in June, and it was dragging across the film every time I advanced. I cleaned it with a toothbrush and some alcohol in about 5 minutes, after 3 weeks of wasted film and way too much internet reading. Has anyone else had a camera part you never think to check turn out to be the whole problem?
