That moment I realized my sensor wires were too close to power lines

Was troubleshooting a false alarm at a house in Phoenix last week and found the real problem. The sensor wires had been running right next to the 120v lines in the attic for 3 years and I never knew. Anyone else had induction mess with their signals?

Oh man, I had a similar thing with a door sensor once. The battery drain was insane until I figured out the wires were running parallel to the AC unit's power cable.

Wait, @amy858, are you serious? The AC line was messing with it that bad? I would've never thought of that.
