TIL that checking engine mount bolts with a light instead of by hand finds cracks sooner. I thought touch was enough until I saw a hairline fracture in the beam.

Touch catches stuff light misses sometimes.

What angle works best for the light? Saw a video using a penlight from the side. @craig.parker's shop trusted touch, but light catches hairline stuff. Video showed shadows from tiny cracks.
