Serious question, I visited the Pima Air & Space Museum and saw a mechanic working on a B-52 engine mount.
He was using a torque wrench with a digital angle gauge, something I always thought was overkill for older airframes. Now I'm rethinking my whole approach to vintage hardware, anyone else switched to digital for classic birds?

Switched to digital after a vintage bolt snapped.

Man, my buddy's old torque wrench failed and he cracked a cylinder head.

Wait, a B-52 is "vintage hardware" now? That's a scary thought. But after what happened to @kai327, I get it. If a bolt can snap from old torque specs, maybe the digital gauge isn't overkill, it's just smart.
