My uncle in Tulsa told me to skip the online AI course and just build one small thing, and he was right
I wanted to get into AI stuff last spring, so I asked my uncle who works in tech in Tulsa what to do, and he told me to skip the $400 online course and just spend two weekends building one tiny project that actually does something. I ignored him at first and bought the course anyway, and three weeks in I was still watching videos about neural nets without ever touching real code. So now I'm finally building a little tool that sorts my email, and wondering if anyone else here learned more from one scrappy project than a whole class?
