Watched my buddy spend 20 minutes tweaking an AI prompt and now I can't stop thinking about it
Three weeks ago at a coffee shop in Portland, my friend Dan showed me an AI image he made of a dragon on a mountain. He kept typing and deleting words in the prompt for about 20 minutes trying to get the wings right. I said it looked cool, but then he called himself an artist and something in my head just clicked weird. He didn't draw anything or paint anything, he just kept telling a computer what to do until it looked right. Is tweaking words really the same as making the picture yourself, or am I just old and out of touch?
