Had a guy at a bookstore tell me AI art is 'soulless pixels' and I still think about it
I was browsing the art section last Saturday at Powell's Books in Portland and this older gentleman saw me looking at a digital art collection. He pointed at it and said 'at least a human made this, AI stuff is just soulless pixels stealing from real artists.' I asked him if he'd ever seen a good AI piece and he just walked away shaking his head. Has anyone else run into someone who flat out refuses to even look at AI art?

Most people arguing about AI art forget that photography was called soulless and cheating when it first showed up too.
