The old man at the Parma Drive-In told me I was the first visitor in ten years

I was taking pictures of the old ticket booth last fall, and this guy just walked out of the woods. He said he used to run the projector and that the last show was 'The Dark Knight' in 2008. He just stood there shaking his head while I shot the crumbling screen. Has anyone else met someone who used to work at a spot they were exploring?

Damn, that's wild. I found an old security guard living in a trailer behind a shut-down paper mill once. He had a whole photo album of the place when it was running, like pics of the giant machines and workers' softball teams. He just wanted someone to look at them, said his kids didn't care. Felt like I was holding onto ghosts he couldn't let go of.

But what if his kids are right? Maybe those ghosts should be let go. River_hart18, that guard is stuck in a dead place, holding pictures of a world that's gone. Sometimes moving on is the kindest thing, even if it feels sad.
