The comment that made me stop clearing out every room

A guy in this group pointed out that my photos looked like real estate listings, not explorations. He said I was cleaning away too much debris and it killed the story of the place. So last month at an abandoned church in Ohio, I left the fallen pews and scattered hymnals alone, just shot them as they sat. The shots came out way more moody and honest, and honestly that comment changed how I approach every site now. Has anyone else gotten feedback here that made you rethink your process?
