PSA: I almost skipped the back wing of a school in Gary, Indiana and found 40 desks still bolted down
Last month I spent two hours in the main hallway of an old elementary school and got nothing but empty rooms, so I almost left before checking the 1950s addition out back. Every desk in that wing was still screwed to the floor in perfect rows, plus a world map from 1968 still hanging on the wall, which is the kind of untouched room I stopped expecting to find. Do you all save the boring wide shots first or go straight for the small stuff like that map?

That 1968 map hits close to home because my own fourth grade classroom in Ohio had one just like it, and I remember tracing the USSR with my finger during silent reading. I keep noticing this pattern where the stuff people left behind in a hurry tells a better story than anything they meant to keep, like the grocery list still stuck to a fridge or a name tag on a coat hook. In your case those bolted desks say the school closed between semesters and nobody ever came back for anything, which is sad and kind of amazing at the same time. I would shoot the wide rows first just to prove how many there are, then get close on that map before the light changes.
