Nearly fell through a floor in an old Detroit factory, still shaking

Was checking out that abandoned Packard plant last Saturday, the one off Concord Street. Stepped on what looked like solid concrete near the old paint booth, and the whole slab just gave way under my boot, dropped me chest deep into the pit below. My buddy Dave had to yank me out by my backpack straps, and my phone screen cracked when I flailed around. Has anyone else had a close call like that, and do you still push forward or call it a day after?
