Finally stopped labeling every photo with a date and a pin
I kept seeing posts here that say things like 'explored this last spring' but then the photos have geotags and timestamps that tell a way different story. Last month I went to an old rail depot outside Tulsa, and the grass had grown over the tracks so bad that my guide had to cut a path with machetes. She said people like me ruin places by giving out exact locations, so now I just write 'somewhere in Oklahoma' and let the mystery do the work. Does anyone else try to keep their spots vague, or is that just my paranoia about crowds showing up?
