Unpopular take on the San Francisco Transit Museum's 1957 bus ad

I hit the San Francisco Transit Museum last month and everyone raves about those glossy cable car posters. But I got way more out of the scratched up 1957 bus ad for Lucky Lager beer. It showed a real corner, 24th and Mission, with the old trolley tracks and a shoe repair shop that's still there today. Why do we always push the pretty stuff and ignore the grimy everyday ads that actually tell you how people lived? Am I the only one who digs the beat up ones more?
