My grandpa's 1957 Chevy radio still pulls in AM stations, but my new car can't find anything but static
My grandpa left me his 1957 Chevy Bel Air and the AM radio picks up stations from 60 miles away even with the engine running. I spent $400 on a new digital radio for my daily driver and it loses signal every time I drive under a bridge or past a tall building. Why did car radios get worse at pulling in stations when everything else got better?
