inI finally noticed how street signs use color for quick reading
Absolutely, it's wild how much thought goes into everyday things. I was just reading about how elevator buttons have braille for blind people, and the floor numbers are raised too. It's crazy that even the sound the elevator makes when it stops is designed to be distinct. Like, that ding tells you it's your floor without looking. All these tiny choices add up to make life easier for everyone. Makes you appreciate the hidden work in design, lol.
