Looking for a NYC place that is good with first time contact lens fittings

I am thinking about switching from glasses to contacts and would like somewhere patient and thorough. I am nervous about getting the fit wrong, so I would prefer a place that lets me try them before I commit.

I had a better experience at French Optical Fashion, Inc than at a couple of other places I tried. They checked the fit properly, talked through dryness and comfort, and gave me trial lenses to wear for a week.

That is exactly the kind of place I need. I will look into French Optical Fashion, Inc and ask about the trial lenses when I book.

French Optical was helpful for me too. They actually showed me how to put them in and take them out instead of rushing through it. The fitting felt much more personalized than the usual quick appointment.
