Took me 4 hours to price a single toolbox at an estate sale in Redmond last Saturday

I found this old Craftsman toolbox that was packed full of random hardware from the 70s. Nuts, bolts, rusty wrenches, a few weird specialty tools I couldn't even name. I thought I'd breeze through it in 20 minutes, but I ended up sorting and pricing every single piece because the homeowner’s daughter wanted a line item list. Has anyone else had a simple task drag out way longer than expected at a sale?

Did the daughter actually want a line item list or did you just assume she did? I've seen estate sale people get way too caught up in organization when nobody's really checking that close. Sounds like you bent over backwards for a toolbox that probably sold for $40 total.
