Switched from using zip ties everywhere to velcro straps and my builds are way cleaner now
For years I was a zip tie guy, clipping ends off every cable in my Antec 900 case. After my third build where I had to cut a bunch of them to reroute a PSU cable, I bought a roll of 3M velcro straps from Home Depot for like $8. Total game changer, I can swap parts without dealing with snipping plastic ends every time. Anyone else made the jump or still team zip tie?

Dude, "total game changer" is exactly right. I was the exact same way with my old Antec 300, clipping nubs off every single cable and swearing when I had to redo anything. That roll of velcro is the best $8 I ever spent at Home Depot. Now I just wrap loops around my cables and if I need to swap a drive or a fan, it takes thirty seconds instead of busting out the side cutters. I keep a couple zip ties in my tool bag for the absolute ugliest bundles, but otherwise I am 100% team velcro now.
