Spent 5 hours trying to align my front panel USB-C port
The tolerances on my 3D printed frame were way off and I kept stripping the tiny screws lol. Anybody else waste a whole afternoon on something that shoulda taken 20 minutes?

Nah I kind of disagree, taking your time on the little stuff makes the whole build cleaner in the end. Pretending it should be quick just sets you up for more frustration.

Three times I've rebuilt my workbench because I rushed the leveling the first time. You're right @matthew_owens9, those minutes you spend making sure the square is actually square or the clamp isn't slightly crooked end up saving you hours of redoing stuff later. I spent two extra days just fitting drawer slides perfectly on my last toolbox and it's the smoothest thing in my shop now. Rushing never pays off, man.
2
