That $200 SEO audit I almost skipped saved my bacon

Last month I was running a little shop in Portland and sales had flatlined for like 6 months. A buddy kept telling me to get a proper SEO audit but I figured it was just some sales pitch. Finally paid $200 to a local guy and he found my site had a bunch of broken links and my product pages were loading slow as molasses. He also showed me I was targeting keywords nobody actually searched for, just stuff I thought sounded good. After fixing those two things and rewriting my alt text on images, my organic traffic went up 40% in 3 weeks. Now I tell everyone starting out to just bite the bullet and get a real audit done early. What was something you were skeptical about that actually delivered for your business?

Wait, did you actually get that brand working with those adapters? I had the exact same setup last month and the connection kept dropping on me every 10 minutes. @matthew_owens9, I tried three different cables and two power bricks before giving up. The voltage specs just don't match up right between the old and new models from what I could tell. Maybe you got lucky with a batch that handles the mismatch better than mine did. I just don't want anyone else to waste money on the wrong parts if it's hit or miss like this.
