Facebook ad manager glitched and spent my whole budget in 2 hours

I set up a campaign last Tuesday with a $500 daily budget for a client in Houston. By 10am the system had blown through every dollar, no conversions, no clicks that made sense. Facebook support said it was a 'delivery system error' and refunded maybe 40% of it. Has anyone else had their ad spend go haywire like that and actually get a fair refund?

Only 40% back for that kind of screwup?

The real angle here nobody's talking about is that refund policy is probably tied to some obscure TOS clause nobody reads. @palmer.henry I'd bet money that "40% back" is actually their standard prorated refund based on months left on a subscription they signed up for, not a real apology for the mistake. Companies love hiding behind "we're just following our policy" when they screw up. They could easily do a full refund as a goodwill gesture but they'd rather protect that quarterly number.
