The $38 vacuum sealer that beat my $300 one in every test
Last month I finally caved and bought a cheap vacuum sealer off a flash sale site for $38 because my expensive one kept failing on wet stuff. I ran the same chicken breast test through both and the cheap one sealed tighter and faster, no contest. Maybe it's just me but the brand name markup feels like pure hype at this point. Has anyone else had a budget pickup straight up outwork the fancy version?

The brand name markup being hype is pretty much what I found too. My cheap one has outlasted two expensive ones, so I stopped feeling bad about it.
