Cashback apps are a scam for people who forget to check
Last month I spent $340 on groceries through one of those cashback apps and got back $2.17 because I missed the "activate offer" button on every item... it's buried on purpose, I swear. Three years ago I tracked every receipt for a full year, earned $58 total, and that was with me being obsessive about it. The real deal is just checking the weekly flyers at my local Hy-Vee in Des Moines, saves me way more with zero app fuss. Anyone else feel like the apps are designed to fail unless you treat them like a part-time job?
