Rant: one dumb reply-all email turned my Monday into a 9 hour password reset marathon
Last Monday I clicked reply-all on a company email and sent a spreadsheet with everyone's login info to 40 people by mistake. Our IT guy made us all change passwords that same day, so I spent 9 hours walking around the office resetting stuff for people who kept forgetting theirs. The worst part was a coworker who typed his new password into the username box 4 times and locked his own account. I also learned our building has zero wifi passwords written down anywhere, so I was stuck guessing on a sticky note. Now I keep a paper list in a locked drawer and I check the "to" field twice before hitting send. How do you all handle shared logins at work without losing your mind?
