Finally got my dad to stop reusing passwords, $50 bet did it

My dad has used the same password since like 2003, even after his email got hit twice last year. Last month I told him if he let me set up a password manager and change his bank login I'd pay his Netflix bill for 6 months. He actually did it, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has had to bribe family members to take basic security seriously?
