Hit 100 FPS in a 1998 Gateway case, still can't believe it works
Picked up an old Gateway 2000 tower from a curb last spring, the big beige one with the weird cow print side panel. Stripped it down, cut the drive bays for airflow, and crammed in a 4070 Super with a 750W PSU. Took about 3 weekends of dremel work and swearing at the front panel connectors. Fired up Cyberpunk on max settings last night, got a solid 100-110 FPS average. The case itself has no front USB, no tempered glass, nothing. Just a floppy drive slot I use to hide a power button. Anyone else hit a frame rate milestone in a case that should have been recycled 20 years ago?
