Vent: dropped $340 on a balcony cabin for the Alaska inside passage and never stepped outside once
Wife and I booked the balcony for a 7 day trip out of Seattle back in May, and between the wind, the rain, and being wiped out after port days, we used it maybe 20 minutes total. That cash would have covered two excursions in Juneau, so now I'm stuck wondering if balconies are just a trap for first timers. Anyone actually gotten their money's worth out of one, or should I just book an inside cabin and pocket the difference?
