I finally stopped forcing every prompt to be a novel and it fixed my writing block, but is short form cheating?
Back in March I was stuck for 3 weeks trying to write 2000 word prompts, then at a coffee shop in Boise I wrote one in 4 lines on a napkin and it was way better. Now half my group says short prompts are lazy while the other half says they get more out of them. Where do you all land on length versus depth?
