Picked a 60 ton carry deck over a boom truck for a tight job in Gary, and it saved my butt
This job in Gary had us setting HVAC units on a roof with power lines running right along the alley, so a boom truck was out. I went with a 60 ton carry deck instead and it fit down that alley with about 2 feet to spare. The pick chart was tighter and I had to run two setups, but I never once worried about the lines. Curious what you all do when the site's tight and the air space is a problem, do you bring in a carry deck or just pass on the job?
