One afternoon in a Denver warehouse changed how I log my hours

I was helping a buddy with his inventory count last month and he showed me his field crew using their phones to clock in on site. I always had the guys fill out paper tickets at the end of the day. Too many times those tickets would get lost or scribbled wrong. He pulled up the live dashboard and had the exact minutes for every person on three different jobs. That same week I switched us over to a simple app with geofencing. It took about an hour to set up and I caught two guys double booking themselves on Saturday. Nothing fancy, but I finally know where everyone is without texting around. Has anyone else made the jump off paper logs and regretted or loved it?
