Just realized our drone photos were lying to us for 2 months

Last week we were matching up progress shots with the site plan in Procore and something felt off. Turns out the drone was set to capture at a weird angle and the software was stitching the overlap wrong, so every photo showed columns about 2 feet further apart than they really were. We almost poured a foundation based on those images until a surveyor caught it during a random check. The fix was just recalibrating the flight path and re-processing the data, took half a day. Has anyone else had their drone mapping software silently mess up measurements like this, or was it just our cheap setup?
