Field crew spent 3 days logging changes manually, then I turned on geofencing

Last month my guys were out in Phoenix doing punch lists for a 28 unit condo project. They kept forgetting to log their time and location in the app, so I was chasing them for notes every night. Got tired of it and set up geofencing around the site so the software auto-stamps when they step on the property. Total game changer. Last week I checked the report and every single entry had a time and GPS tag, zero missing. Has anyone else had luck with geofencing for smaller crews, or does it get flaky on bigger sites?

Actually I was skeptical about geofencing at first, thought it was just another feature that sounds good on paper but fails in the field. But after reading your Phoenix story, I get it now, the auto stamp thing removes all the guesswork and makes the guys accountable without them even trying. That zero missing entries stat is what sold me, might have to give it a shot on my next job.

Tried geofencing on a crew in Sacramento last spring and it cut our paperwork errors down to almost nothing, same deal with the auto stamps. Once the guys saw there was no way to fudge the clock, they stopped trying and just did the job.
