Met a guy at a gun show who swore 5G towers are mind control devices
I was at a small gun show in Springfield last March, just browsing ammo prices, when this older guy in a camo hat starts telling me how 5G towers can alter your brainwaves. He pulled out a laminated pamphlet with a diagram showing how the towers connect to satellites and claimed it was all run by a secret UN agency. I asked him if he had any proof and he just pointed to a blurry photo of a tower with some circles drawn on it. Has anyone else run into these people who have a whole printed presentation ready to go?

Used to roll my eyes at these guys until I actually looked up the frequency ranges 5G uses and found out millimeter waves are absorbed by skin and sweat glands. That part about the UN agency is still nuts to me but there's real research on how certain radio frequencies affect human tissue, not like mind control but enough where I stopped putting my phone next to my head at night. The laminated pamphlet thing is wild though, must have cost him like fifty cents to print that at the library. Maybe it's just me but I'd rather read a peer reviewed study than a diagram with hand drawn circles.
