My Kirby Morgan reg froze up at 90 feet last Tuesday
Was doing a bridge inspection down in Charleston harbor when my second stage started free flowing out of nowhere. Had to signal my tender to abort and do a controlled emergency ascent, which cost us half a day and about $800 in lost dive time. Turns out a tiny piece of grit got stuck in the diaphragm seat. Has anyone else had a reg fail on them from something that small?

Dig into the grit itself-was it sand from the harbor bottom or maybe a piece of debris from your tank valve when you hooked up? Curious if you rinsed everything before that dive or if the reg had been sitting for a while. Could be something simple to avoid next time if you figure out the source.
