Can we talk about the day my code exploded at work
Last Tuesday I was working on a simple Python script to sort inventory data and somehow broke the whole company dashboard. My boss walked over and saw 500 error messages flashing on the screen. Turns out I had a nested loop that just kept running forever because I forgot to indent something right. Has anyone else had a tiny mistake crash something way bigger than it should have?

Forgot a semicolon once and took down the whole payroll system.

Dude, I feel that. Pre-commit hooks saved my butt (and our paychecks).

Bruh, "forgot a semicolon once" is carrying some serious weight there. That's not just a typo, that's a system-wide existential crisis. Bet the accounting team was ready to throw hands when they realized payroll was out there doing its own thing. I've seen a missing bracket crash an entire ecommerce site during Black Friday, and that was stressful enough. But taking down the money flow? That's how you get moved to the "never touch production" list real fast.
