Three months in and my nylon brush is already shedding bristles on every job
Had to pull a clump of nylon out of a flue last Tuesday in a 1920s colonial and now I'm wondering if I should just switch to steel brushes for good, has anyone else had cheap nylon go bad this fast?

Three months in" is honestly a better run than I'd expect from a brush made of glorified fishing line, lol.

Did one of your buddies actually try to stick with it for that long? I had a friend who bought one of those cheap bamboo ones from some random seller on Etsy, swore it was the best thing for a week. Then the bristles started falling out in clumps after like two showers, and he found a piece of it floating in his coffee mug. He just threw the whole thing away and went back to his old plastic brush from Target, never mentioned it again.
