I work near the corner of 5th and Main and have been hitting the same sandwich place for months because it was close. Last Tuesday my usual spot had a line out the door, so I wandered behind the Sunshine Laundromat and saw this tiny cart with a handwritten sign for empanadas. Got one beef and one cheese for $5 total. They were crispy, stuffed, and honestly better than anything I've paid $11 for in weeks. The lady running it only does lunch hours on weekdays. Is it weird to make that my new regular? Anyone else found a hidden gem in a weird spot like a parking lot or gas station that beats the obvious options?
