A guy at the Trenton night market sold me 6 dumplings for $2 and now my Friday nights are ruined
Stopped by the Trenton night market two Fridays back and this old guy with a folding table was selling pork dumplings, 6 for $2. I bought one order just to be polite and ended up standing there eating three more while he laughed at me. Now I skip the $14 burrito place I used to hit every week and just go straight to his table. He only shows up when it's not raining, so I've been checking the forecast like it's a job interview. Anyone else got a cheap spot that quietly wrecked your usual routine?
Man I feel this in my soul. There's a taco truck by my work that does 3 for $5 and I used to bring lunch from home every single day, now I'm out there rain or shine like a weirdo checking if their lights are on. The worst part is when you show up and they're just gone, no sign, no warning, and you stand there looking at an empty parking lot feeling stupid. That forecast checking thing is real though, I do the same thing with this guy's facebook page hoping he posts something. $2 for six dumplings is criminal in the best way and honestly your burrito place never stood a chance.
