Used to pay $60 for thermal paste jobs, now I use mayo in a pinch

Back in 2019 my laptop was overheating bad in Austin and I was broke, so I smeared some mayo from the break room on the CPU. It actually worked for like 3 weeks until I could get real paste from a buddy for $5. Has anyone else tried random food items as thermal goop, or am I the only weirdo?

Mayo works until it rots, try mustard next time, lasts way longer.
