I finally ditched the power stretcher for a knee kicker on tight hallway runs

My hallway at a house in Arlington was only 30 inches wide and after fighting with my power stretcher for 20 minutes I tried just a knee kicker and it laid perfectly flat with zero wrinkles so has anyone else found narrow spaces work better with the old school method?

You laid it perfectly flat with zero wrinkles"... man I gotta call that one out. A knee kicker can get it close but zero wrinkles on a tight hallway run usually means there's some give somewhere that'll show up later. Might wanna check it in a week or so.

Two days from now that wrinkle is gonna show up right where the wall meets the trim. People get too worked up about it looking perfect right when they finish. @matthewperry I get what you're saying but I'd bet my tools it won't even be noticeable unless someone's crawling around with a ruler.
