Walked through a 1920s hotel in Butte last weekend and counted 14 mortise and tenon joints still tight as day one
Whoever framed that place knew what they were doing, no squeaks anywhere in the whole lobby. Any of you ever pulled apart old work like that and tried to copy their tricks on a modern job?
