Built this deck in Nashua last spring and just found out my ledger washers were on backwards the whole time
Was reading through the IRC deck code for fun last month and saw the diagram showing the washer face against the wood, not the bolt head like I'd been doing for 6 years. The inspector in Nashua never flagged it, so now I'm second guessing every deck I've built for the last 3 towns. Anyone else have a code detail they caught way too late?
