Lunch with a junior dev changed how I think about meetings
I was complaining to a new hire about too many standups and she said 'I actually like them because I learn what everyone is working on.' It hit me that I've been framing meetings as obligations instead of chances to pick up something useful. Anyone else suddenly see their own routine differently after a fresh perspective?

Three weeks ago I would have rolled my eyes at that, but @river_hart18 pretty much nailed it, standups grew on me once I stopped treating them like a chore.
