Just realized my buddy's $200 car cover is scratching his paint and mine from Walmart isn't
He parked his Mustang in the garage at his place in Fresno with that fancy cover and after 4 months there's swirl marks all over the hood, meanwhile my cheapo one has been fine on my Camry for 2 winters. Turns out he never washed the car before covering it and never checked if the inside was clean, so all that grit just sat there grinding. Why do people think an expensive cover fixes a dirty car, has anyone else seen this happen with the pricey ones?
