Watched a 22 year vet in Boise replace a whole RG6 run instead of crimping a new end, and it clicked
I used to just cut and crimp a fresh connector when a line went bad, and I was back at the same house 3 times in one month. He swapped the full run start to finish and told me "you're chasing the same water leak with a paper towel" so now I just replace the whole line when the signal is flaky. Anyone else got a cutoff rule for when to just rerun it?
