Rant: customer's dog stole my fish tape on a job in Boise

I was running a line through a crawlspace when their corgi grabbed the tape and dragged it under the porch, so I had to army crawl after it while the guy just laughed from the doorway. Anyone else got a pet horror story from a house call, or is it just me?
