Warning: I zip tied every cable behind my TV for 5 years, then tried velcro straps last weekend and I'm never going back
I had like 14 cables back there and zip ties seemed smart because they never came loose. Problem is every time I swapped a device or added my daughter's Switch dock, I had to cut them all off and start over, which happened maybe 6 times. Last Saturday I grabbed a $9 roll of velcro straps from the hardware store in Spokane and redid the whole mess in about 20 minutes. Being able to peel one strap open, move a cable, and press it shut is a game changer, and nothing has sagged yet. Anyone else made this switch, or am I late to something obvious?
