Guy at the Denver airport handed me his cable and said one sentence about the bend
Last month I was charging my phone near gate B12 in Denver and the guy next to me pointed at the kink right where my cable meets the plug. He said he marks that spot with a dot of nail polish the day he buys it so he can see the strain start before the wires break. Mine lasted 4 months, so do you actually catch it early with the polish trick or does the cable die anyway?
Does the nail polish actually stop the cable from dying or does it just let you watch it die in slow motion? Sounds like putting a bandaid on a car that's already rusting out. My guess is the cable dies right on schedule and now you just have nail polish on your hands.
