Watching a plumber in Cleveland laugh at my "fixed" sink taught me I had the p-trap on backwards for 3 years
He pulled out the trap, held it up and said "the long end goes down, hon," and I just stood there realizing every clog I'd fought since 2021 was my own fault, so does anyone have a good way to actually remember which end is which?
