Figured hosted VoIP was a sales pitch till our fax line kept dying at the shop
Spent 4 days fighting a dead dial tone on the old copper setup in our office before a rep showed me the hosted system keeps the same number and runs over the internet for $29 a month, so now I'm wondering what else I wrote off too fast back when I assumed anything new meant a contract trap?
Man, four days of phone tag with a dead line sounds rough (and of course it dies right when you need it most). Glad the rep actually showed you something that worked instead of just pushing paper. It's funny how we get so burned by past bad deals that we lump everything new into the same bucket. Half the stuff I swore off for years turned out to be way less of a headache than the old way.
